About us

We began in 1988 with a single fruit stall. Today we are a family company that buys fruit from 18 countries and delivers it across India overnight.

Our story

Om Shakthi Traders started in 1988 as a small stall run by our founding family in Crawford Market. When the fruit trade moved to the new APMC complex in Vashi, so did we. A few cartons of imported apples soon became a full container every week.

We learned early that freshness comes down to temperature and time. So we built our own cold stores, bought our own reefer trucks and set up a customs desk at the port. Today the whole chain runs under one roof, from the orchard abroad to the trader's shop here.

The Durga Devi emblem has been on our cartons since the first day. To us it stands for the promise behind every box: strength, honesty and care.

Honest grading

If the label says count 100, the box has count 100. We stand behind every box we sell.

Long partnerships

Many of our growers and buyers have traded with us for more than 15 seasons.

Early to rise

Our trade desk opens at 4 AM, because that is when the market opens.
